This association raises awareness for the singles community of some of the not-for-profit singles

organizations and their activities in the National Capital Region.

Founded by members of these not-for-profit organizations for networking and mutual support.

Kanata Dance Club         

 

Dance club for Singles & Couples, 35 and over.
Dances now held generally monthly, on Saturdays 7:30  pm to 11:30 pm. 
Admission:  At the door: $18, Online: $16.

Sunday Brunch Group      

The Sunday Brunch Group was founded in 1989 to provide a friendly, informal environment for unattached single 50+ adults to meet others for the ongoing purpose of developing new friendships through organizing brunches at local restaurants.


Note: Attendees are responsible for their own bill and gratuity. In some cases, the restaurant may include a gratuity. Our volunteer organizers do not accept any liability for any reason whatsoever.
 

HOW TO RESERVE
1. It is important that you submit your reservation no later than the preceding day at noon Saturday. Seating is often limited by a restaurant’s capacity and staffing needs.
2. If you are unable to attend after reserving, please email us to cancel so that someone else may attend in your place.

Swinging  Singles Mixed Golf League (SSMGL)           

     
A  not-for-profit mixed golf league with usually two men and two women playing in foursomes.
Most play stroke play but some play “scramble”. We have a social gathering after golf each week usually at the golf course but occasionally at Member’s homes.

Basic SSMGL Membership: $50.   Regular $75 Membership / Final Tournament Deposit is also available.
All levels of golf are welcome.  Most players are single but we also welcome many couples.
We play golf every Sunday  at the Meadows.  Members pay fees directly to the golf course.
Group golf lessons on Tuesday evenings are available subject to capacity limitations
